Overview

Feature Classes have a specified style. For point classes you can specify icon and color. For lines and polygons you can specify line thickness, line style, color, and alpha.

Styles help you quickly identify feature class types on the map, in layers, and selection menus. Individual features can override the feature class style with their own arbitrary settings.
