# Enablement

*Need to upgrade your subscription to a team subscription?* [*Contact our support team.*](mailto:support@touchgis.app)

The team member Enablement setting is designed to help you get the most value out of your subscription and save you time when managing large teams.

Enabled members have access to your subscription's premium features in-app and occupy a seat on your subscription. Non-enabled members do not have access to the premium features in-app and they do not occupy a seat on your subscription.

This is most useful when you have an internal IT team that needs to manage the account but won't be going out into the field and using the app to collect data. It's also useful when you have multiple field teams that are active at different times of the year. With the enablement setting, you can set up all of your team members at one time and simply update their enablement status when they're getting ready to do their fieldwork.

Check out the following video for a quick step-by-step demonstration of how to update a team member's enablement status to help get the most value out of your subscription.
